Led by Dr. Yang Zhou, our dentists and team members work together to create a comfortable, welcoming experience while helping each patient maintain a healthy, confident smile.
Dr. Dennis (Yang) Zhou, DDS
Dentist and Owner
Dr. Yang Zhou is the owner of Creative Dental of Queens. He earned both his undergraduate degree in biochemistry and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University, graduating magna cum laude. He then completed a general practice residency at Jacobi Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY, where he cared for patients with complex medical conditions who required hospital-based dental treatment.
Before joining the Rego Park community, Dr. Zhou served as a clinical director at dental practices in Queens and elsewhere in New York. His clinical experience spans general dentistry, dental implants, full-mouth rehabilitation, and oral surgery.
Dr. Zhou believes every patient deserves to understand their treatment options and feel cared for like family. He takes the time to listen, explain his findings, and develop a personalized treatment plan that reflects each patient’s needs and goals.
Dr. Zhou is fluent in English and Chinese. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, cooking, and exploring new restaurants throughout New York City.
Dr. Christy Sun, DDS
Dentist
Dr. Christy Sun earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. She completed a one-year General Practice Residency at NYU Langone in Brooklyn, where she further developed her clinical skills while caring for patients with a wide range of dental and medical needs.
Dr. Sun’s clinical experience includes comprehensive general dentistry, restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, root canal therapy, extractions, and emergency dental care. She is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care while balancing efficiency, comfort, and long-term oral health.
Dr. Sun is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Outside of the office, she enjoys skiing in the Colorado mountains and Upstate New York, as well as spending time with her cat, Popo.
Dr. Wilson Morocho, DDS
Dentist
Dr. Wilson Morocho is an experienced dentist who has served patients in Queens with a strong commitment to personalized, high-quality dental care. Raised in Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Morocho has deep ties to New York and has dedicated his career to caring for patients in the community.
Dr. Morocho earned his dental degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. He then completed his residency at Staten Island University Hospital, where he gained additional experience across a wide range of dental procedures and treatments.
Committed to continuing education, Dr. Morocho has completed hundreds of hours of advanced training in dental implant placement. This additional training has expanded his ability to provide comprehensive treatment for patients with a variety of restorative and dental implant needs.
In addition to his work in dentistry, Dr. Morocho serves as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family.
Dr. Morocho continues to provide dental care as part of the team at Creative Dental of Queens, working alongside Dr. Yang Zhou and the rest of the practice to serve patients in Rego Park and throughout Queens.
Vanessa Martinez
Office Manager
With over 20 years of experience in the dental industry, Vanessa Martinez is a dedicated dental professional specializing in practice management, treatment coordination, insurance operations, and patient relations.
Her extensive background in both private practices and Dental Support Organizations (DSOs) has equipped her with a strong understanding of clinical operations, financial performance, and team leadership.
Passionate about creating exceptional patient experiences and building successful dental practices, Vanessa combines her expertise in operational efficiency, practice growth, and patient-centered care to help dental teams thrive.
